HDFC Bank announces the fifth regional edition of #DigitalInnovationSummit to be held at #Indore on 11th Feb 2020 at #IIMIndore in association with Startup India and IIM Indore. The Bank hosts the Digital Innovation Summit with the objective of interfacing with startups, whilst exploring new and #disruptive solutions that fit into their overall objective of simplifying their customer's lives. HDFC Bank announced the winners of its first edition of Application Programme Interface (#API) Banking Summit 2019. The winners are: - Betterplace Safety Solutions Pvt Ltd - Bengaluru, - Pennant Fin Services Pvt Ltd (LBIT) - Hyderabad, - GetOn Infotech Pvt Ltd - Noida, - ZAPFIN (DOCBOYZ) - Pune, - HYLO - Bengaluru The winners are from #DigitalBanking, #CRM, #OperationalEfficiency and #SME domains and will integrate HDFC Bank #APIs in their platform, after evaluation on technical, business, security & compliance parameters. The summit received 100+ entries and 24 shortlisted companies made presentations to a jury from which 5, were declared winners. The jury selected winners post evaluation on the parameters of Uniqueness & Innovation, Business Potential, Usability and Scalability, Value addition to business and Compatibility with HDFC Bank's business & technology platforms. HDFC Bank launched the 1st edition of its #APIBankingSummit in #Bengaluru today. In this first-of-its-kind event in the country, the #Bank invited partners to use its open banking #API services, enabling third parties to build services that can connect to its banking systems. With over 100 APIs in ready-to-consume stage and the best #banking security in the country, HDFC Bank offers a huge opportunity for 3rd parties. Entries were invited from partners from Payments, #CustomerService, Customer Acquisition, #Analytics, #Social and Operational Efficiency. A high-profile jury will select the best solutions from the 24 shortlisted partners today. These 24 have been chosen from over 100 entries received. HDFC Bank signed an #MoU with Storeking a distribution platform connecting brands to small towns & villages of #India. Through this MoU, Storeking will become a corporate business correspondent of HDFC Bank allowing the #bank to tap into their network. StoreKing is a #Bengaluru-based #startup, that enables retailers in tier 3 to tier 6 cities to sell more #products & #services to in-store #customers by ordering through its app & web platform. It operates a #fulfilment centre and handles end-to-end #logistics, which includes delivery to and from 2,800 small towns in 10 states. This will allow HDFC Bank to go deeper into rural geographies to offer its full range of products and services, bridging the Bharat-India divide. HDFC Bank signed an #MoU with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to promote and nurture #startups in partnership with Meity Startup Hub (#MSH). Through the MoU, startups enrolled with MSH will have access to a holistic suite of services including #banking accounts designed especially for startups, advisory and mentorship programs, as well as access to incubators to accelerate growth. HDFC Bank Parivartan today announced the successful completion of its Holistic Rural Development Programme (#HRDP) in 11 villages in the #Yavatmal District of #Maharashtra. This initiative has enabled us to ensure that 1,927 households get access to #water for #drinking and #farming. We have also provided these families with training in new and improved #agriculture practices which will enable them to generate higher income. We partnered with Sanjeevani Institute for Empowerment & Development to implement HRDP in Yavatmal. The project started in 2016 and has transformed the #villages of Manjarvaghal, Pathrad, Amla, Nibhora, Dhotra, Sonurly, Eklara, Vatkhed, Bargadgaon, Walinagar, and Shrirampur. “Through HRDP we are creating an ecosystem to improve the overall #economic and #social conditions in #rural #India. Our #NGO partners play an instrumental role in planning and executing projects.
